(I bet Cali knows the version with the alternative lyrics.)
I wonder if Cali has associated Rachmaninov 2nd Symphony with 'I can't get started' or Four Last songs with 'Jesus Christ Superstar' or Stravinsky's Baiser de la fee and 'Wooden Heaert'.

I stopped after the first 6 words.

I don't know how some of you ******s can sleep at night!

"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
      Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

            Quintesentially Caliban?

I have been hoping to go till next September. At the moment I do not like to be too far away from my elderly parents.

I would very much like to write transcription for concert band of the Adagio from aforesaid 5th and also the first movement, would be very good.

Well for me the essence of the best Mahler slow movements is strings - but go on, BBM, I'm sure you can prove me wrong!

This would be most interesting. Well I know Mahler was very exact in what he wanted but I think I can makes a pretty good job.
