Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
    Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Some of this sounds a bit kazoo-like:

Mahler 5 Mvt 5 on the organ

"...the isle is full of noises,

Thank you, Cali! Much appreciated! I hope that my arrangement of his first movement from his 6th Symphony, will be played next year, by the 64 piece American college concert band. I am hoping a film be posted on YouTube.

Ooooh a flim, Bbm? Aside from George Clooney playing you who else is going to be in this film?

I'm finding the cloughie-fernie veiled allusions vaguely menacing....

On the paths, in the woods,
on the banks, by the walls,
                  in the long, lush grass,
                  or the winter leaves,
                  fallen leaves, I wait....

"...the isle is full of noises,

Gorgeous voice, cloughie - and we got the "intro", too - but I'm not so keen on the syruppy orchestral arrangement. (I nearly posted the Mama Cass version, but it doesn't fit her register as well as her best work.)

Kind of Gil Evans ca 1960 meets Mantovani, ahem.

Bloody Hell are you lads trying to sabotage my love of Mahler 3? (Mahler 9 having been wrecked by 'I'm dreaming of a White Christmas' !)

Fortunately I'm at work so couldn't hear it really - but I'm assuming there's a thematic link? Don't know the song and that's the way it's gonna stay!!

Cali, with that brass entry to the end of Mahler's 3rd, I was thinking of maybe arranging that?
