    Mahler: the Ultimate Exam

Composer Richard Atkinson being given an evil Mahler exam by fellow Mahler-maniac Peng-Peng Gong

I managed to get two correct. Any advance?

I got 4 right. First two, then I lost count of where the other two came, and can't say the pieces because it will spoil it for others.

      all but one.
One question is arbitrary, as the same fragment occurs in two different symphonies at similar places of a mvt.

I got only two - the first and last. Otherwise, I was all at sea.

Lets be honest, at their age those boys really do need to get out a bit more.

I only do quizzes with prizes.

Do you remember the gentleman whose party trick was to read LPs (from the groove patterns) and be able to identify the works (with the labels covered)? He impressed Sir Georg and Lady Solti on TV and even identified an LP before its release.

How do you know they don't get out?

How do you know that they aren't black belt Brazilian jiu-jitsu masters and would break your elbow if you pissed them off?

Don't judge a cover by the book it's from.

Back on topic, is there a version of Mahler's six for two pianos?

Only 3 here, and more by good luck than judgement, I fear.
