    I do sympathise, Saly. My tinnitus usually isn't too bad, but I've got a cold at the moment which has blocked my ears, rendering me deaf in the right ear & exagerating the tinnitus, which means that anything I listen to has a piercing whistle obligato & ostinato.

      Yes,there are worse things Flossie but it often gets worse when I try to concentrate more on the music and
      also when I am tired. Hope your cold departs before next week.

        There was a lot of comment on RVW's Pilgrim's Progress here a few weeks ago. IMHO the Delius is a better piece, but hardly anyone seems to have listened, though there are usually plenty of English music protagonists around. Strange.
