An interesting composer whose music I first heard many years ago, much influenced by Peter Maxwell Davies in those days. Well worth investigating and he's still around I understand.

I've just heard that Cyril Lloyd died sometime around the end of last year. He had recently had his 8th symphony premiered. A mutual friend said Mr Lloyd would have been annoyed that he hadn't completed the full set of nine.
