(I'm still out of pocket from the Ensemble Studio6 tour I was involved with in March of this year.)
    Sorry to hear this.

However, since I am going to see Dave Holland in November I was not sure I could have managed to get down to London again to see your gig later in the month; but I should be able to make it next year.

An unsalutary forewarning of the sorts of things we now have to be prepared for, I would imagine, and my heart goes out to you.

Hope it all goes to plan for next May.

Usually there is a bit of a folk music focus to music on that particular day.

Perhaps we'll have a new government with a progressive agenda by then, with a nice diverse range of music for the day.

            Stranger things have happened.

There've been at least two bands I can think of that managed to aggregate two of those words into one as a title. This isn't the one I was thinking of but it'll do. I'll dedicate it to the futurologists who once told us that all this new technology would increase the spare time we would enjoy for doing creative things that had nothing to do with making money for other people.

Have I just imagined it or has a piece of music by FURT disappeared from RB's soundcloud page? Can't remember the title, but the accompanying picture was of an eye.

Nope. I think it was called something like '(n + 2)'.

That track (n + 2) - x was removed from the Soundcloud page because it became a track on the album FUNCTION released a couple of weeks ago on Bandcamp where it's joined by three related pieces: https://furtlogic.bandcamp.com/album/function

angel on the other hand has NOT been removed https://soundcloud.com/r-barrett/fur...rett/sets/furt

Update on this: there will be two concerts in the UK by ELISION: 29 April at Huddersfield University, and 1 May at City University. The programmes won't be the same as the cancelled City Uni date because they'll contain new stuff which wasn't ready in time for last month. In fact I believe the Huddersfield date will include at least one premiere, possibly two, aside from world-line, which, for those who might be interested, is being recorded in Melbourne next week for a release on the HCR label a few months from now.
