                Happy listening!
I don't think that the non-Hickox stuff in the set got as good reviews, but still probably worth a listen.

Happy New Year, everyone. I'm very late to this discussion, but do you realise that the Hickox version of In Terra Pax is of the strings/harp// cymbal version? If you want the orchestral version you need Handley, Hill, or I don't know who else.

.... and Happy New Year to you pabs .... I didn’t realise this, being a bit thick, but I feel this arrangement fits the piece better than the full orchestral forces .... plus I find Shirley Quirk’s voice wonderful. I now await the Sir Thomas Allen version

                        Don't feel bad, ag!
Despite having a copy of the score, which clearly says Chamber version, and having conducted a performance (violas: please play what's written!) and played a bell-like contraption in another, I'm not sure that I realised that there was a full orchestral version.

You're right: the chamber forces suit the music just perfectly!

I've ordered a copy, it will take a little time to arrive but I too admire anything by Shirley-Quirk and the chamber version will not be a drawback for me. (The above sentiment also applies to my feelings about the Durufle Requiem).

Is everything OK where you are, Pabs? We saw the pictures of your storm a couple of weeks ago.

Yes, we're fine. We've had three tropical storms that never became typhoons. The first was quite close and very slow-moving, and it brought 36 hours of non-stop rain. But the second wasn't really near us, and the third is passing over now, but it's a feeble affair. Happy 2018 fo everyone!

That's good to know. Happy returns to yourselves too.
