    Biggin, Tony

The only time I saw the sunken villages of Ladybower Reservoir was in the boiling hot summer of 1976. No one ever thought they would see them. We were "Going for Gold"
on the hills in a reasonable re-enactment of the best parts of the Montreal Olympics. They just emerged before our eyes in the drought.

Seeing compositions by Tony Biggin on CD is an even rarer site. When is he going to get "A Sussex Overture" recorded and the Greenham work onto CD as well as unavailable vinyl? And is the Duchess of Cornwall still the patron of East Sussex Youth Orchestra? Because if all else fails, I will have to write to her.

Looks like he lives near where I used to between 1985-95.

But it isn't the same, though, and I don't "do" I-Tunes.

One of the things I am going to have to try to resist is posting separate threads on "why isn't this one recorded?".

Next step Geraldine Mucha.........or very possibly not.
