Eroica: Scherzo repeat not apparently J del Mar

.....That would have been long before Beethoven appended his tempo markings which, with the repeat on the third movement restored by Jonathan Del Mar, result in a performance lasting around 40 minutes or so.

Bryn - I've raised this once before, because the only unexpected repeat I've ever heard in the third movement of the Eroica was in a David Zinman performance - as well as in his recording. I asked if anybody had come across it elsewhere - but nobody responded. I've therefore assumed that it is a Zinman arrangement of Beethoven of which I'm sure you wouldn't approve - whatever the tempo! :)
