Which particular programme are you referring to. This week's start with a repeat of the second programme of the January 2015 series. This is due to the fact that Friday's Prom will start at 18:30, leaving no time for CotW that day. It seems a bit rough that the first programme of the series has not even been made available on the iPlayer though.

The lunchtime programmes are absent to make space for the Edinburgh Festival broadcasts; only the 6:30 "repeat" slot is being used. This week, as Bryn says, four programmes (repeated from 2015) are being broadcast from today until Thursday:

As the programme is currently being broadcast, it probably won't be put onto the i-Player until after the programme has finished.

Four COTW programmes on Bartok - one of the greatest composers of all time. I'm sure the BBC will make room available for a full and representative week for him in the near future. It's got to, with a composer of Bartok's stature, surely?

Well, this week is a partial rerun of the full week that was devoted to Bartok first broadcast in April 2014, so it isn't that long since they did make such room available.
