Anybody listening to this?

Work V hectic ATM, so haven't heard much , ( and I don't know any of his music) but did catch a bit of Malcolm Bilson playing the OP 44 sonata. Sounded terrific stuff, so giving the whole sonata a whirl on Spotty.

It's fabulous. Completely captivating period instrument approach.

I have a couple of cds of Dussek Piano Sonatas (CPO,modern piano).
Haven't listened to them for ages (don't think they include Op 44 IIRC) but they are quite impressive works I think.
I will catch up with the above,thanks ts.

The only Dussek in my collection is the Piano Quintet on a 4CD set from Brilliant Classics. Eight unfamiliar pieces and one very familiar one (The Trout) are very appealingly performed by the Nepomuk Fortepano Quintet. Only £11 when I got it - bit more now.
