    Free Thinkers on Musil is great. Still not quite sure I can face trying to read it though. I agree about the lack of analysis elsewhere. A failure of the mission to explain.

    Also I see AS Byatt and Margaret Drabble in consecutive programmes.

      Mmm. On the subject of Radio 3's invitation for 'tweets', they had a Twitterchat on Thursday, ref Music on the Brink, for 1 hour.

      By my calculation (and I got fed up checking) they had a total of 18 tweeted questions, more than half of which came from people from the BBC or closely connected, mainly BBC Radio or Radio 3 itself. How do we know that most of the other tweets they get aren't set up by Radio 3?

      [Last count 14 out of the 18 ... - leaving 3 individuals tweeting in the other 4 ...]
