Having had a quick trawl through the posts, I did not spot Gervase de Peyer's name. He was extremely popular at one time and played quite a bit, I understand, for Britten. He is still alive, I think.
I agree with Caliban that the Finzi Bagatelles are great pieces, and have been the stepping stone for many aspiring young players from the nursery slopes to 'proper' music. And blimey, the piano accomp for No 5, the fughetta, keeps the pianist busy too.
The concerto for clarinet and strings is a most poignant piece, and yes, Thea King has the measure of it!
