    Qobuz changes

Not sure if this is the right place for this - sorry if not.

Anyone here who subscribes to Qobuz might like to look here. Interesting things afoot, not least a significant price cut in some of the streaming services. Also localised apps and the option to pay in local currency from December.

Very interesting. Thanks, Graham. I was paying 9.99 euros a month for the Premium subscription, but only use it on my laptop. I'd be interested in their Basic package and paying in Sterling. It's an excellent service - lots of new releases and classic recordings. Obviously, the Harmonia Mundi and Hyperion catalogues are only available for the higher subscription rates but I can live without them.

My current subcription expired a few days ago. I wasn't planning on re-subscribing, as I wanted to go back to listening offline, via the hifi.

    However,

The new prices look good, and I may upgrade to the full package - just about affordable at 19.99 euros for lossless streaming for all genres.

I'd thought of putting Qobuz on hold for a while, especially since Harmonia Mundi became available on the Naxos Music Library over the past couple of weeks. I have a free subscription to NML through the Toronto Symphony mailing list - details here. The interface is nowhere near the standard of Qobuz but it's excellent for independent labels and the price cannot be beaten!

      Love the Pacino!
