    More trouble at Scottish Opera

The problems continue at Scottish Opera. After putting their orchestra onto part-time contracts, and dispensing with their chorus, they have now lost their new musical director, who was apparently much-liked by the orchestra, only a month after he started:-

Scottish Opera's music director, Emmanuel Joel-Hornak, has left the company only a month after he started work there.

Can you hear Sir Alex Gibson spinning in his grave? It just goes from bad to worse.

I wonder how the Arts willbe treated should Scotland vote YES in slightly less than a years time!

What a way to run a business! Downgrade or terminate the contracts your key staff and suffocate your talent-leader!!!!

Are you reflecting on the impoverishment of management or the terribly difficult circumstances in which they find themselves?

What would a Life Coach advise?

Sounds like the old management at the ROH that were filmed on The House - perhaps they should get the BBC in for a fly on the wall to enable a clearout of Philistines .
