If you are unsure which version of a film is listed below let me know and I'll confirm the date of the film for you.

I hope I've made as wide choice and that your favourites are amongst them.

If I may - Just to clarify (and not wishing to invite discussion as to the rules): It is only from the above list, (compiled from boarders' suggestions of original film music)

Each boarder to put their top film scores, in order of preference (as near as they can). This does not include films where the music wasn't originally composed for film i.e. Death in Venice with Mahler, 2001 with Ligeti etc.

Sorry. As a 'child of the 60s' I was never any good at sticking to rules. Please delete my Shostakovich, etc - but surely there's a place for Arnold's wonderful "Sixth Happiness" music. The climactic 'This old man', combined with the main theme, is spine-tingling.
