Agree with Anna re R2, which Lady Gould and some daughters listen to quite a bit....FNIMN hangs on but the main thrust of the station seems to be at an average look back to about 1988 with signs of the sixties being up for the chop......

Lovers of Sixties 6os pop need to tune to R2 at 0600 on Saturdays or - as we're constantly being told - they can catch up on BBC Sounds whenever we wish.
Radio 3 seems to be extending an ever warmer welcome to film music. I'm looking forward to hearing the BBC Concert Orchestra playing the wonderful main theme from Cinema Paradiso and the overture to La Forza del Destino - the latter to remind me of the Soubeyrans.
