Ok I've compiled a list of 200 films, from boarders choices and some research, hopefully they cover enough of a range to keep as many of you happy as possible.

That does seem to be the solution, with both versions being available on the DVD. But even then, there is no Goodwin-only option.

I'm still thinking about my selection, there are some favourite films there like All About Eve - but for the life of me I cannot remember the music so don't wish to vote for the film rather than the music.

Good tip Anna, yes a lot from the voting list are on You Tube, so plenty of opportunity to refresh your memories before voting.

Gabriel's Oboe (from The Mission) by Morricone, is something I'm asked to play frequently. It has even found its way to the ABRSM oboe exam syllabus form 2014 onwards.

Quite a beautiful piece, but it does sound as though it's a variation on Praise my Soul, the King of Heaven.

I'm unsticking and closing this thread as the vote has started and this list is closed. If you want to vote for something that isn't already on the list, you can leave it to Suffy to decide what to do with it - but not being on the main list means it's unlikely to get very high on the final list.
