Does anyone have any more suggestions, please?
Hiya Bamig, The composer Kalliwoda in his String Quartet No. 1, Op. 61 has a splendid Scherzo movement containing lots of pizzicato available on the Calliope label.

Typing "pizzicato" into Spotify discovers most of what we have already, plus:

Pizzicato section in Act 1, Rayonda, Glazunov Op 57
the central section - Grand Valse - pizzicato - reprise de la Valse of Raymonda, Glazunov Op 57.

        44 duos for 2 violins - no 43, Bartok

The Limpid Stream, Act III - Shostakovich

        and

        Jazz Pizzicato - Leroy Anderson

plus some even more "popular" items - I quite like this one - http://open.spotify.com/track/23sqivCtaNZanjxooOwmI1

There's a great pizzicato section in Malcolm Arnold's 2nd violin sonata.

Come to think of it, I don't ever recall citing Elliott Carter and Johann Strauss II as examples of the sme thing before, but I supppose that, as the cliché runs, there's a first time for everything...

                        but

Salat Babilya, the Arabic title of the piece you're about to hear, was inspired by the classical music of Iraq, in particular the beautiful sounds of the Oud...

Isn't that the one to which I referred in #23? - or is there a third one?...
