New kit every season? (We won't have stripes because they're too traditional.)

What about a sea of Haydn's skull masks?

well tinned pineapple IS cheap Pabs, so I'll run with that , for starters!!

Skull masks...oh YES !! And If Finzi ever makes it back to the proms, that picture of yours would be perfect. (apologies if it isn't the great man !!)

new kits every few years i think.....lets support the artists, rather than exploit the fans!! (and throw in a free CD or two !!)

Pabs, stripes seem to have be out of fashion, even at SMS.

Oh, and to keep on topic, a short announcement at the Proms about clapping would do fine. or discreet cards left on the seats where the main"offenders" are.

Are you suggesting that they do it then just to rile the conductor and other concertgoers? Surely not.

I'm thinking that the folks at CERN must have something to do with this ?
People are supposed to rant on about clapping at the Proms before and during the season NOT after it ?

Start apologising. It's George Sainton Kaye Butterworth (or Kaye-Butterworth as he was at Eton and in the army).

Don't agree. I think that rants about clapping during Prom performances should be left until the season has completely finished. Selfish people that want to be noisy about the issue during the season just spoil it for others.

Inspired, possibly, but irrelevant to the discussion. However, might I suggest we put this one on hold until it becomes topical?

Is HS2 involved in the timings on this issue at all?
