      I think she's the only soloist violinist playing on the day at Proms in the Park (Glasgow); ergo is presumably available. By a 'go', I merely meant a 'turn': no implication that it should be some sort of 'try-out'.
      It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

          If Nige gets fired - how about getting this now 65 year old violinist in to play her old party piece . She seems not to have lost her touch !!!
