Interesting programming - never heard the Sea Symphony live so looking forward to curing my faint aversion to Walt Whitman being belted out by a chorus.
It'll knock your socks off. If there was ever a first symphony whose beginning pins you back in your seat, this is it.

I will be among those doing the belting but I've never heard Earth Dances - am looking forward to that!

      Lucky man, should be fantastic.
I heard the Sea Symphony at the RFH earlier this year, and it was a great experience.

The chance to hear Earth Dances is to be savoured too.
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

Not a ticket as such but a place booked for this evening's performance by Jonathan Powell of works by Stockhausen and Murail at City University Performance Space.
