Two concerts on 11th March in the beautiful city of Birmingham ....

Afternoon at the Town Hall its Haydn, Mendelssohn and Shostakovich (PC2, Peter Donohue), then it's Bach and Bruckner at
Symphony Hall in the evening. Residing overnight at a nearby hotel so can relax post-concerts with a couple of drinks.

What marvellous concert programming as well!

    Well done Brum!

No standing eight count, no hitting on the break, the bell can't save you.

Saturday Muti is conducting the Mozart Requiem here.
My wife always feels entitled to skip Church whenever we hear a Concert Requiem.

"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.

The same programme, Teamsaint. The orchestra fly in to NY, play the concert and then fly out again! Oh, the glamour!

The concert is on my birthday so I'm really hoping Chi-Chi can obtain La Mullova's autograph for me...

                                Anyway, should be an experience.
