After careful consideration, I think Boney M were glam rock - more in the same world as Gary Glitter (now there's not many who'd admit that!)Last edited by Pabmusic; 05-06-13, 23:27.

The " Punk" label and the "Flop" status or boney M and their biggest selling disc (not to mention the legendary but non existent Chicory Tip Flexi disc) were banter carry over from the Rock/Pop/Fusion thread. Sorry.
There is no known musical genre for Boney M, I suggest !!
Beefy helped to hype Boney M to the heights of success.
Perhaps Boney M could make a come back covering the Gary glitter hits that can no longer be played, and do us all a favour.
