Hardly "punk" (but it does mean something else to Americans ) or even "Reggae"
but surely the "M" have taught the yoof more about Russian History than Gove ever will ?
So for that , it's time for "Night Flight to Venus"
The Volga is a Russian river, not the Babylon. Get yer facts right and leave Gove alone.

Sorry, Beefy, but you're obviously not well acquainted with Boney M hits.

The more this continues, the more I feel that there must have been an 'alternative' band - a punk band - called Boney M, as well as the one that had the hits.

After careful consideration, I think Boney M were glam rock - more in the same world as Gary Glitter (now there's not many who'd admit that!)

The " Punk" label and the "Flop" status or boney M and their biggest selling disc (not to mention the legendary but non existent Chicory Tip Flexi disc) were banter carry over from the Rock/Pop/Fusion thread. Sorry.

There is no known musical genre for Boney M, I suggest !!

Beefy helped to hype Boney M to the heights of success.

Perhaps Boney M could make a come back covering the Gary glitter hits that can no longer be played, and do us all a favour.

" I didn't know I loved you till I saw you Rock n Roll by the rivers of Babylon......"

ah so it was your fault.
              Does Cloughie know about this?

Cloughie's a closet punk. He was at the Hope & Anchor on that classic night - along with 500,000 other people that claim to have been there!!!!
