I've just remembered that there's a CD of two string quartets and an oboe quartet by Graham Whettam, played by the Carducci Quartet. Perhaps a movement from one of those for the list, anton?
June is British Music Month on Radio 3!

Morgan Nicholas (better known for his hymn tunes) composed 2 very nice pieces for oboe and piano - Rhapsody and Melody. They are short enough to fit into Breakfast's scheduling.
