It's on again in a bit folks.
A bit like those lovely moments listening to the FA cup draw on an illicit radio during a physics lesson at 12.30 (?) monday way back when....
the unforgettable moment in 1976 in the semi final draw when the words "Southampton will play... (third division).Crystal Palace" came crackling through..meaning we avoided the red hot man utd and Derby teams.

But why should it be neccesary to devote one month to British Music, other than to admit that Radio 3 neglects it for the rest of the year?

Yes Rob, it made giving the cooker a 'deep' clean into easy work with that atmospheric music. I feel guilty about Bridge as we had many works in old brown paper parcels in the hire library at Augener. I looked after what WAS ordered, Bridge wasn't really my problem but thankfully BB rescued some pieces and Faber Music published them. Bridge is certainly underplayed and underrated IMHO.
