Wide-vibrato-soupy-flute not really my cup of tea but good to see him enjoying life.

Why do you feel the need to tell us this, Bryn? Sorry, , but for those of us on the forum who do avail ourselves of the excellent drama and arts coverage to be found on Sky, this virtue-signalling (which I take it to be) every time somebody draws attention to it is very tedious. I read The Times, too.

I read The Times, too.

A decade or so ago I did subscribe to Sky for a while, but after having to dump and replace three Sky boxes in 2 years, and multiple faulty repeats of Berio's Outis, I terminated the contract. It's not just the connection with the egregious Murdoch and co., it's the poor quality of service I experienced.

Over the years we have had a few exchanges re. Jarvis's contention. The programme helped show how paper thin his 'evidence' was. I don't think Jarvis has many supporters among his fellow Bach scholars.
