    Amazon P&P Pricing Changes?

Trying to order a bargain disc via a re-seller on Amazon.fr, the P&P price seems to have shot up. In the blurb, the seller lists the P&P as the standard €2.49 but now at the checkout the delivery costs come up as €3.40.

    Have they changed the prices?

    That sounds a bit odd.

If you order a lot from Amazon it is worth paying for the Prime membership; once you have stumped up your 49 quid you get free next day delivery for a year; you can have a month's free trial, so you could always do that and then cancel before they take the money.

Hmm. I've taken advantage of this, using the 'one month free trial' and cancelling at the last minute. I suppose the free postage doesn't apply to the Market Place sellers, where most of my buying is done. Sometimes the Amazon price is triple that of Momox, Marvelio, etc.

      EDIT.

I see what's happened: the new format (HTML 5?) of the address page had me sending it to myself at my parent's English address, hence the price was from France to England.

It's doubly strange that I've never paid them a penny but have benefited from the free next-day delivery for a year or more at least...
