BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra 2013-14

Just got the new season programme (Glasgow concerts). Highlights for me will be Mahler 5 & 9, conducted by Runnicles, & 4 conducted by Brabbins; Vaughan Williams 7, 8 & 9 conducted by Manze (8 will be in a 'Discovering Music' programme in the afternoon, so presumably not broadcast live).

The MAhler will be programmed with music by Britten, & the 9th with Part's Cantus in memoriam .... There's also a fair bit of Americana.

Now if someone could book Alisa Weilerstein to play the Elliott Carter cello concerto, that would be impressive.
