Prompted by a mention of a Masterclass at the RAM, I looked up both RCM and RAM's events, quite a few of which are free, e.g. Kathryn Stott at the RAM next Tuesday, and, a live stream of Vladimir Ashkenazy conducting the RCM orchestra in Prokofiev 2nd Piano Concerto and Rachmaninov 2nd Symphony tomorrow night (Feb 29). I dare say that there are similar events at RNCM and other regional music departments which may prove attractive to one and all. A chance to hear tomorrow's stars!
