    Mmm... Just about, but it's more a similarly ("inspired by") than anything. Ralph McTell's The Streets of London or the Pet Shop Boys' Go West are much closer to the Pachelbel Canon than the Miss Marple Theme is to Borodin.

      Fairy Nuff; I knew the films for years before I heard the Quartet, and as soon as that bit arrived when I first heard it I thought "Miss Marple"!
