Could someone do likewise with that Naxos library resource? Can't find the link...

          Murky buckup

PS Just noticed that all these comments are actually registering here in the Library.... Do you think that's a good idea? I'd have thought it was better for this thread to be closed after post #1, with a separate thread for comments.

Likewise, for Sc's 'journey', should comments be made under 'What are you listening to?' rather than here?

What do we think? (He said, flexing his mod. tools finger )

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
          Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

I think there could be a separate (quiet !!) discussion thread on here where appropriate, or open threads where it might help, EG the Naxos one I just posted, where further links might be added .
The symphonic journey can properly be discussed on Talking About Music, for example, so is better here as a closed thread, I would say.

That would make more sense I think.

Well, here for the moment, till we decide. Wonder if the head librarian has any thoughts? Frenchie?

So should I start a thread in 'Talking about...' entitled say, "Reference Library Talking Points", punt all the above save for the OP there, and close these?

Don't want to close the 'journey' thread as it will need to be added to as Sc progresses... Just hope people don't chat there!

UPDATE: only frenchie can close threads, I find.

An elegant solution to some of the issues.
Just like the civil service in better funded days !!

I'll keep posting the Symphonic Journey in What are You Listening To Now? This gives the opportunity for anyone to discuss any of the works I've listened to, at the same time I'll let Caliban know each time I post one of my summaries so that they can be copied across to the other thread.
PS I've got a busy week from the 17th-21st February so if there might be a longer gap than normal between postings.
