I would interpret that as implied permission to take photographs in the theatre with my mobile 'phone.
Technically called a 'camera phone', I believe. Unless, of course, your mobile phone doesn't have a camera. In which case you would be in the clear

I have just got off the dog.
My lawyer says that the technical name for my mobile 'phone is 'mobile 'phone'. He says Americans call them Cell 'phones (but they get lots of things wrong).

He says my other 'phone is a 'smart Phone'. In either case, they are not cameras. Even a camera phone isn't a camera, he said.
