A wonderful speaking voice! Trevor Nunn cast him as Othello in a production with Imogen Stubbs and Ian McKellan which, I believe, is preserved on DVD somewhere.

Then its design appears to be flawed - at least from where I'm sitting. I did visit Mæstro Barenboim's website and also visited (and contributed a comment to) the link kindly provided by ams but I don't think that this is what you're referring to.

His Beethoven / Boulez concerts at this year's Proms were fascinating and enjoyable. And what a delight to see him carrying the Olympic Flag at the Opening Ceremony just hours after leading Beethoven 9. Bravo Maestro. Many happy returns.
