    Private Passions

Today's guest is Arlene Phillips. Who can we expect next week, Simon Cowell?

Might this beneficially be merged with the existing thread called 'Private Passions'?
I'm not sure whether its Arlene Phillips that MickyD is worried about, or her musical interests, which might prove to be very interesting. (Come on, it's only an hour at most out of your life, however busy it is!

They did have that camp chap from the same programme, forgotten his name (double-barrelled?), but he was a hoot. Shan't be troubling Ms Philips though - not really interested by her 'private passions'
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
      Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

But where is that Private Passions thread, Northender? I can't find a heading anywhere! Like Caliban, I rather think I can do without Ms Phillips' Private Passions and that hour can certainly be spent more profitably listening to my current pile of yet-to-be-played CDs! But do tell us what you made of the programme!

I'd rather have his grandfather Henry myself (that's MADE UP)

My first thought as well - BUT when I started listening I was hooked. Never judge a book . . . etc.

I listened to some of it, but her voice must be the most irritating ever.

                          JS-P is an audio-visual nightmare.

                          ( imo )
