    The Cellists That Time Forgot

R3 today 12.15pm until 1pm A nice little programme introduced by Julian LW and featuring four cellists who fit the title.

Some absolutely beautiful playing and just wish that I'd recorded it. Enjoy !

I also enjoyed this. Leonard Rose and Antonio Janigro were actually quite familiar to me, even as a non-specialist, unlike the other two players who I had not previously heard of.

The other two were Felix Salmond and Milos Sadlo. I'd heard of Rose and Salmond only.

A fascinating programme, and interesting input from JLW.

Jayne's contributions to these Boards are always fascinating: she deserves her own show!

I must have missed Jayne's link, but I listened to this because of saly's recommendation, and enjoyed it very much.

Well I have a recording of it and if you promise not to shop me to the Kent constabulary I can send it to you - it is a very fine programme with some beautiful playing.
