One article by the Philadelphia Inquirer critic in parallel with the orchestra's tour noted outreach work in London:
"Generally, London musical life is wide-ranging, given its four major symphony orchestras and numerous other highly specialized ensembles, unequaled by any continental city. No surprise, then, that London was the setting for the orchestra's most genre-bending outreach activity, when four Philadelphians collaborated with a British folk ensemble from the Trinity Laban Conservatoire in a short set of American and Romanian music at a street festival at East London's multicultural St. Paul's Way Trust School.
