I must be one of the few that I know to get excited about the 'other' festival starting tomorrow.
Yes, Bayreuth.
Since I discovered the Bayreuth Festival LIVE on line last year, I'm now hooked.
The only unfortunate part is that I'm at work, SOOOO, this means streaming audio on line, but not to annoy my co-workers.
Alternatively set up my computer at home to the site and audio output to dvd recorder so can listen at home, primarily due to time difference
Even worse is that I am the ONLY classical music lover in my dept, let alone being a Wagenerian and opera lover in general
Oh well, at least I can curl up with my wine on my night off and listen to things I could only dream of years ago
