Very glad to see you here, CB. EMS is definitely one of the best (if not the best) programmes on R3. I hope you’ll be able to pop in here from time to time.

This was an interesting and most enjoyable programme. A rather unusual take on the Brontes. It gave a flavour of life at the parsonage, and was also interesting from the antique piano point of view.

(This was originally a reply to salymap in the other thread, which is why it seems a little out of place here.)

          Hi, salymap,
There are some views on this thread though the title is not quite so clear as yours

The Early Music Show, Early Music Late; Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque and HIPP on Radio 3 and elsewhere

Maybe somebody could merge them? A pleasure to see a new member on the thread!

          Chris

[Edit: I've merged the two threads and left a redirect on the Early Music board so hope it won't be too confusing. A pleasure to see a presenter on the thread too! :)

It was a terrific programme and I recognised Mr Cohen's voice at once - took me straight back to my 1970s childhood !
