Available, of course, with quite a lot of other de Peyer performances on the excellent Melos Icon Box which I'm sure many people around here will already have acquired.

Ordered from Zoverstocks a few days ago for my wife to give me for Christmas, now awaiting delivery - a snip at just over £16 for 11 CDs. Very much looking forward to opening it on Christmas morning and then sneaking off to listen when the opportunity arises (do we all do this, or am I the only sad git here? )

De Peyer was a marvellous player, very musical and with a mellifluous sound (I'm using the past tense, but I believe he is still alive - at 88 I'm not sure he is still playing publicly though). I have the Puddy (much discussed above) and the Nash Ensemble's Wigmore Hall recording of the Brahms quintet, both of which are very good, but relish the chance to add de Peyer's .
