Did any boarders ever hear him play live? I think I've picked up that he didn't do this much, if at all.
I keep hitting the Escape key, but I'm still here!

I have a Mozart concerto disc with Concentus Hungaricus and Matyas Antal - K503 and 501, which was one of my first Naxos CD purchases around 1990. The only other recording I have is the complete Beethoven Sonatas, which I acquired when it appeared as a very well-priced download a few years ago and which I have listened to often and with great pleasure.
Virtual Box Set - Complete Beethoven Piano Sonatas. Naxos: 930169. Buy download online. Jenö Jandó (piano)

Heymann indicated that he had a terrible stage presence. He would glare at the audience and not acknowledge them once he started playing

          That's sad, a great performer.

I just listened to his K491 for the first time. It is really good, well worth trying.
