Well, we do of course have a forum resident ex-pat over there whose welcome posts on here from time to time come along as reminders. The beautifully crafted music he composes has a markedly "English" character, I'm sure he won't mind me saying!

      I rather doubt that!!!

Susie first came to my attention from a set she performed in duo with the great Derek Bailey, in one of his later Company performances I am fortunate to have recorded on cassette from a BBC Music In Our Time programme.

Thanks, S-A. That adds depth to the subject , as I used to listen to Derek Bailey a lot, and still have some CDs of him. I found his little maroon-covered book on 'Improvisation' most rewarding when it came out in 1980 I think..
