The R3 sound is a fair bit behind that on BBC1; a deliberate delay?

Is there a way to watch without the chatter? They just rioned the best bit of Crown Imperial - that glorious 7th near the end! I am on Radio 3 but I would like to see it!

This stream has no commentary, but it’s the same as the TV feed so won’t just focus on the musicians:

You always find the sound/picture unsynchronised between whatever devices you are using when watching live events. If you have Radio 3 on your phone and on your laptop/PC as well as your TV I doubt if any will be synchronised with any of the others! No idea why but it's probably something very technical and nothing deliberate.

I've muted the sound on BBC1 and am listening on R3; out of sync but not too bad.
Once things really get going I'll switch so that the TV sound goes through my hi-fi system so is in sync.

I assumed it was just digital processing delay. I'm listening to R3 on 'good old' FM and watching the TV feed on BBC1 with the sound muted.

I began by listening on Radio 3, but switched to BBC1, where there there was no unnecessary talking over the music.

ALW’s happy-clappy anthem might well have grated, but it’s amazing what an orchestral backing and a fine choir can do.

                            indeed.

Whatever else one might think, the music is superb.

Is there a list of the orchestra’s personnel? I’ve look online but can’t find anything.

JEG was conducting the pre-event music.
