I've some 1500 cds 'parked' on one of my computers so no problem in that respect - except I tuned in for the Beethoven (the 1st part + interval nonsense had no attraction) then found R3 was taking R4 with it seems a slight delay.
I guess the end of a era - not really looking forward to the next - personally I'd prefer to skip a generation if we still need to keep it.

According to the RAH website tonight's Prom was cancelled altogether (as well as its broadcast). Since it included the Eroica Symphony it's hard to imagine a more appropriate work to play on such an evening, but there we go. A friend went to the concert, and apparently the orchestra came on to the stage and played the National Anthem and Nimrod. Not sure if there was anything else apart from a long silence. Was anybody else there?
As a comparison, reports suggest hat the Arcade Fire concert at the o2 Arena went ahead as planned.
It looks as if the BBC News Special continues uninterrupted on Radio 3 until 6:00 tomorrow morning, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's extended beyond that.
