      One of my all time favorite recordings is her singing Spanish Songs, De Falla and Garcia Lorca, with Ypes accompanying her on the guitar

            Sad news. Fond memories of her as Zerlina in Joseph Losey's film of Don Giovanni and as Carmen in Claudio Abbado's recording.

                  Eloquence reissued a couple of her recitals - Brava Berganza and 18th century portraits a couple of years ago - well worth getting.

                  Presto have both of the @CD sets reduced to £9.45 at present.
