Erik Chisholme - interviews with composers & others of his time

I came across this site the other day, and thought others might well be interested. Dr Chisholm, whose Christian name was spelled the same way as Satie's, was a Scottish composer and friend of Bela Bartok, who is among those listed on the site, others including such as Alfredo Casella, Cyril Scott, Donald Tovey, Karol Szymanowsky, Bax, Ireland, Sorabji, Shostakovitch and Medtner, names of personalities who will fascinate those interested in 20th century music from a wide perspective while offering valuable insights from one who seems to have been pretty broadminded in his views on the scene for his time.

The page I've chosen as opener is a feature on Paul Hindemith - the other names can be logged onto by clicking the list to the right of the screen.

Erik Chisholm was an acclaimed Scottish composer and key figure Scottish music history.

(Psst: apologies - there is no "e" on the end of Chisholm's surname )
