Never knew about that one. Alan Civil is another ‘star’ instrumentalist who is only known to the general public for his Beatles gig.

I know Ronnie Scott was furious that his work was barely audible on the final mix of Lady Madonna, and Macca did actually apologise to him for that.

Musicians from the North London Asian Music Circle played on Love To You, with Anil Bhagwat (tablas) credited on the sleeve. Anna Joshi, Amrit Gajjar (both dilruba), Buddhadev Kansara (tambura) and Natwar Soni (tabla) from the NLAMC played on Within You, Without You. Harrison himself played sitar on Norwegian Wood of course.
