I attended his production of Stockhausen's Mittwoch in 2012 which was beautiful, imaginative, weird, and without a dull moment in what I guess must have been four hours at least.

I go to performances, but don't usually memorise the director's name - unfortunately I mostly remember names to avoid - and Graham Vick doesn't come under that heading. I'm sure I've seen some of his productions in my earlier years at ENO, occasional forays to Glyndebourne and more recent attendance at Covent Garden.

One production - which was enjoyable - was The Ring on Two Nights -1990 run. That was well before I felt ready to experience the Ring As Written over the four nights......
