I've mentioned the Musescore program, which is a free music notation program, before.
Now I'm noticing that there's what appears to be a vibrant community at the website musescore.com - https://musescore.com, with particpants uploading versions of well known works, and also producing and effectively publishing their own music. There are discussions too, some of which are interesting.
An interesting site to explore, though the structure is not always clear.
Some examples - Fantasy on themes from Norma - https://musescore.com/steven_wan/gra...ra-norma-op-20
There are discussions and new pieces coming along most days - and some are good.
Some of the (I presume) young composers are very good, though there are some older ones too.
